Arthritis Formula ingredients: Contains: Emu Oil (80%), isopropyl alcohol, wintergreen oil, MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), and menthol. The alcohol dilutes the fatty acids in Emu Oil slightly which allows it and the other ingredients to penetrate deeper and faster. The alcohol will not dry your skin in the presence of 80% emu oil. It also helps keep the formula flowable at lower temperatures. Wintergreen oil contains natural anti-inflammatory salicylates. MSM has been shown to increase the integrity of joint tissues and reduce inflammation. MSM is an organic sulfur compound similar to DMSO and is naturally found in all human tissues. According to the research that created this formula, the emu oil/wintergreen oil combination reduced soft tissue inflammation better and faster than either ingredient alone. A small amount of menthol is added to counteract rare irritation caused by wintergreen oil.
